Das Gehäuse:
Die Ball Roadmaster Marine GMT DG3220A-S1CJ-SL verfügt über ein 42,5 mm großes Titan-Gehäuse mit einer Dicke von 14,5 mm. Titan bietet das höchste Verhältnis von Festigkeit zu Gewicht aller bekannten Metalle. Der Gehäusekörper ist gebürstet, während die abgeschrägten Kanten poliert sind, was das robuste Profil des Gehäuses betont. Auf dem Gehäuse sitzt eine keramische, beidseitig drehbare „Pepsi“-Lünette mit einer 24-Stunden-Skala. Keramik ist ein Material, das für seine Haltbarkeit bekannt ist und überlegenen Kratz- und Korrosionsschutz bietet.
Eine verschraubte Krone befindet sich bei 3 Uhr, während die zwei Drücker bei 8 und 10 Uhr angebracht sind. Die Uhr ist vorne und hinten mit Saphirglas ausgestattet, das Schutz vor Kratzern und Bruch bietet. Es wurde mit einer entspiegelten Beschichtung versehen, um jederzeit optimale Ablesbarkeit zu gewährleisten.
Das Zifferblatt:
Das Zifferblatt ist in Silber gehalten und zeigt ein aufgeräumtes Layout mit lumineszierenden Stabzeigern, markanten 12-, 6- und 9-Uhr-Indizes sowie ein vergrößertes Datumsfenster bei 3 Uhr. Im Dunkeln erwacht das Zifferblatt zum Leben, da 23 Mikrogasröhrchen, verteilt auf Stunden-, Minuten- und Sekundenzeiger sowie Stundenmarkierungen, Elektronen freisetzen, die ein helles und langanhaltendes Leuchten erzeugen. Dieses System ist etwa 100-mal heller als andere konkurrierende Technologien. Das Zifferblatt verfügt außerdem über einen GMT-Zeiger, der es dem Träger ermöglicht, zwei 24-Stunden-Zeitzonen gleichzeitig zu verfolgen, dank der 24-Stunden-Dreh-Lünette und eines Zifferblatts, das die Zeit im 24-Stunden-Format anzeigt. Zudem zeigt es eine doppelte Mondphasenanzeige, die gleichzeitig die aktuelle Mondphase für die nördliche und südliche Hemisphäre darstellt.
Das Armband:
Es ist an einem zulaufenden H-Glieder-Armband befestigt, das aus einer Kombination von Titan und Edelstahl gefertigt ist. Es zeigt sowohl gebürstete als auch polierte Oberflächen, die einen visuellen Kontrast schaffen und die Gesamtästhetik der Uhr verbessern. Das Armband wird mit der patentierten Faltschließe von Ball am Handgelenk gesichert.
Die Funktionen:
Das automatische Kaliber RR1206-C von Ball treibt diese Uhr an, es verfügt über eine Gangreserve von 38 Stunden und eine Genauigkeit von +/- 4 Sekunden pro Tag. Es ist COSC-zertifiziert, bietet eine Anti-Magnetismus-Bewertung von 1.000 GAU und eine Stoßfestigkeit von 5.000 Gs. Die Uhr ist bis 300 m wasserdicht, was bedeutet, dass sie auch beim Sättigungstauchen getragen werden kann.
