Das Gehäuse:
Gefertigt aus Edelstahl und mit einem Durchmesser von 44 mm wirkt das Gehäuse dieser Seiko Prospex 'Manta' 'King Samurai' SRPE33K1 robust und hochwertig. Die scharf zulaufenden Kanten des Gehäuses verleihen dieser Uhr ihren Spitznamen „Samurai“. Die gebürstete Oberfläche des Stahls verleiht diesem Modell den typischen Toolwatch-Charakter. Das kompakte Design sorgt für einen angenehmen Sitz am Handgelenk, da die Bandanstöße und das Endglied des Armbands genau am Rand der Lünette abschließen. Eine übergroße verschraubte Krone befindet sich neben der 3-Uhr-Position und wird von einem Kronenschutz geschützt, was die Funktionalität dieses Modells erhöht.
Auf dem Gehäuse thront eine markante, einseitig drehbare schwarze Lünette mit einer 60-Minuten-Skala, während sich bei der 12-Uhr-Position ein Leuchtpunkt befindet. Sie besteht aus Keramik, einem Material, das von Luxusuhrenmarken wegen seiner Haltbarkeit und Langlebigkeit bevorzugt wird. Die Lünette behält ihr auffälliges, glänzendes Finish, da sie kratz- und farbbeständig ist – weshalb Rolex auf Keramiklünetteinsätze statt Aluminium umgestiegen ist. Der verschraubte Edelstahlboden ist speziell graviert. Für das Glas wurde Saphirglas gewählt, das für seine Kratzfestigkeit bekannt ist und in der Härte nur vom Diamanten übertroffen wird.
Das Zifferblatt:
Das tiefblaue Zifferblatt erinnert an den Ozean und zeigt drei Mantarochen. Am Rand des Zifferblatts befinden sich übergroße silberne Indizes für bessere Ablesbarkeit. Ebenso sind alle lumineszierenden Indizes appliziert und leicht erhöht, was dem Zifferblatt eine dezente Tiefe verleiht. Der Kontrast zwischen dem pfeilförmigen Stundenzeiger und dem schwertförmigen Minutenzeiger macht Verwechslungen unmöglich. Das Seiko-Logo sitzt unterhalb der 12-Uhr-Position, während ein Datumsfenster die 3-Uhr-Position ersetzt.
Das Armband:
Das silberne Armband der Uhr besteht aus besonders widerstandsfähigem Edelstahl, der mit einer Bürsttechnik veredelt wurde. Es ist im Stil eines Oyster-Armbands gehalten, das mit der Marke Rolex assoziiert wird. Verschlossen wird es mit einer dreifachen Faltschließe mit Sicherheitsverschluss.
Die Funktionen:
Angetrieben wird diese Uhr vom exklusiven Seiko 4R35 Automatikwerk. Es handelt sich um ein selbstaufziehendes Kaliber mit Handaufzugsmöglichkeit und Sekundenstopp-Funktion. Dieses Werk verfügt über eine beeindruckende Gangreserve von 41 Stunden. Es besteht aus 23 Steinen und schlägt mit 21.600 Halbschwingungen pro Stunde. Die Uhr ist bis 200 Meter wasserdicht und somit zum Tauchen geeignet.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.
