Die 2Q bringt viele der Elemente zurück, die Fans am vorherigen Modell liebten, und erfrischt es mit einigen einzigartigen Änderungen, die Sammler begeistern werden.
Suttirat Anne Larlarb, die Kostümbildnerin für den kommenden Bond-Film „Keine Zeit zu sterben“ (mit Daniel Craig), war die Designerin der James Bond 2Q Uhr SS07Z102. Sie zollt ’s Lieblingscharakter Q Tribut, der Bond in der Filmreihe mit seinen berühmten Gadgets versorgt. Der Stil der Uhr spiegelt Qs Persönlichkeit und Stil wider.
Sie basiert auf der Skin Irony Kollektion, die ’s futuristischste, dünnste und robusteste Designlinie ist. Das Gehäuse der Uhr ist nur 6,7 mm dick und 42 mm breit, besteht aus Edelstahl und hat ein mattes Finish. Ziel der Uhr war es, „zeitlose Tradition und futuristische Innovation“ zu vereinen.
Das verlockendste Designelement ist das Ausstellungsfenster, geschützt durch Mineralglas, das dem Träger erlaubt, die inneren Mechanismen der Uhr zu sehen. Dies ist eine großartige Anspielung auf die Technik, die als Inspiration für diese Uhr dient. Futuristische Innovation zeigt sich im eleganten, ringförmigen Aluminium-Design des Zifferblatts. Es verfügt über schmale, dreieckige blaue Indizes, das Logo bei 12 Uhr und ein „Q“ bei 6 Uhr. Die geneigte Rehaut (innere Lünette) ist in einem eleganten matten Rot gehalten.
Ein Unterschied zur vorherigen Version sind die Zeiger, die nun in einem tiefen Blau gehalten sind, passend zu den Markierungen. Dieses Blau zieht sich auch durch die große Spule, die durch das skelettierte Zifferblatt sichtbar ist und die vielen Komponenten der Uhr zeigt.
Das braune Lederarmband mit Tartan-Karo unterstreicht ’s Verpflichtung zur zeitlosen Tradition von Bond. Desmond Llewyn (der Q siebzehnmal spielte) trug in seiner Darstellung von Q oft ein Tartan-Hemd. Die 2Q hat ein etwas glänzenderes Finish des Musters, das schön mit dem Licht spielt. Die Rückseite des Armbands wurde ebenfalls geändert und zeigt nun eine rote Unterlage, die zur markanten inneren Lünette passt. Das Armband wird mit einer Standard-Metallschließe mit eingraviertem Logo befestigt.
Durch das Zifferblatt ist ’s berühmtes Quarzwerk zu sehen, hergestellt von ETA. Es zeigt nur die Zeit mit Stunden- und Minutenzeiger. Die Batterie befindet sich außerhalb des Gehäuses, was einen schnellen und einfachen Batteriewechsel ermöglicht. Die Uhr ist bis 30 Meter wasserdicht.
