Se stai cercando un orologio che possa davvero resistere a urti e sollecitazioni, il Luminox MIL-SPEC 3359 è esattamente quello che fa per te. L’espressione "specifica militare" viene spesso usata nel mondo degli orologi, ma qui ha un significato reale. Questo modello da 46 mm non è solo ispirato al mondo militare; è costruito per rispettare rigorosamente lo standard MIL-PRF-46374G (Tipo III, Classe 1) del Dipartimento della Difesa degli Stati Uniti, rendendolo un vero orologio strumento, senza compromessi, progettato per professionisti.
Nonostante le dimensioni importanti, l’orologio risulta sorprendentemente leggero al polso. Questo grazie all’uso da parte di Luminox del CARBONOX™+ per la cassa spessa 14 mm. Si tratta di un materiale avanzato a base di carbonio che riduce il peso mantenendo una resistenza eccezionale. Sopra, trovi una lunetta girevole unidirezionale in titanio di grado 2, ideale per resistere a graffi e urti pesanti. Il quadrante è protetto da un vetro zaffiro antiriflesso e, grazie alla corona e al fondello a vite in acciaio inox 316L, vanta un’impermeabilità impressionante fino a 300 metri. Ogni singolo orologio viene testato individualmente per garantire la resistenza alle profondità marine.
All’interno, è animato da un movimento al quarzo svizzero ETA F06.412, ma non si tratta di un calibro standard. È dotato della tecnologia HeavyDrive, che funge da ammortizzatore per evitare che le lancette si spostino in caso di urti violenti. Include anche PreciDrive, che compensa le variazioni estreme di temperatura per mantenere una precisione di cronometraggio eccellente. Forse la cosa migliore è l’autonomia della batteria, stimata in ben 84 mesi, cioè circa sette anni prima di dover portare l’orologio dal gioielliere per la sostituzione.
Esteticamente, il 3359 presenta un look artico netto e ad alto contrasto. La leggibilità è fantastica, favorita da una lancetta dei secondi arancione prominente con punta in Super-LumiNova. Naturalmente, essendo un Luminox, dispone della loro tecnologia luminosa distintiva. Invece di affidarsi a una luminescenza standard che svanisce al buio, il quadrante e le lancette sono dotati di piccoli tubi al trizio. Questi forniscono una luminosità costante e autonoma per fino a 25 anni, così puoi sempre leggere l’ora anche nelle condizioni di oscurità più totale.
L’orologio viene fornito con un set completo di due cinturini intercambiabili per adattarsi a qualsiasi attività. C’è un cinturino in gomma bianco molto appariscente con fibbia in CARBONOX™, che mantiene il peso complessivo a soli 90 g, perfetto per immersioni o sport. Insieme a questo, c’è un cinturino in tessuto nero più sobrio con fibbia in acciaio inox per l’uso quotidiano, che riduce ulteriormente il peso a 77 g. Come tocco finale gradito, il segnatempo e il marchio Luminox sono certificati come completamente neutrali in termini di emissioni di CO2.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.
